An apprenticeship is the age old tradition of having a skilled, experienced professional teach a younger, knowledge-thirsty individual. This is how societies kept traditions of quality craftsmanship and superior skill sets, sometimes for ages and ages. Our programs are an exciting comeback for this proven learning method. We offer paid apprenticeships, which allow you to work for Automation Excellence and get paid to learn computer skills that are becoming more and more necessary in today’s technology centered world. We benefit, because of the work you provide while you learn.

The pyramid above shows the plan of Automation Excellence to develop computer skills in homeschoolers and provide them with a possible vocation in the IT industry. The blue at the bottom represents students who take HomeGrownProgrammer classes for a suggested 1 to 4 years. The orange represents students who move on to become one of AE’s apprentices. According to federal requirements, these students must be at least 16 to become an apprentice. The green represents those apprentices who move on after a suggested 1 to 4 years, to work for AE full time. When his/her skill level warrants it, (s)he will be allowed to mentor apprentices, regenerating the cycle of US citizens becoming proficient in programming and computer skills. Finally, a mentor who distinguishes him/her self may be asked to become a principal owner in the company.

See our Apprentice Projects program if you have a project that you would like our apprentices to develop for you.
